PH54CY032 Developing Key Worker Skills in the Management of Lymphoedema/Chronic Oedema:
 
This level 4 unit will support registered and unregistered health care professionals in assessing and managing Lymphoedema/Chronic Oedema. This interactive course is delivered virtually or face to face by experienced lymphoedema professionals and includes both theoretical and practical information allowing the learner to reflect on personal practice. Completing this course will enable the learner to recognise, assess and manage individuals with lymphoedema.
 
PH54CY025 Promoting Skin Care for People with Lymphoedema to reduce the risk of cellulitis:
 
This level 4 unit will support registered and unregistered health care professionals in assessing and managing skin conditions associated with lymphoedema including cellulitis. This interactive course is delivered virtually or face to face by experienced lymphoedema professionals and includes both theoretical and practical information allowing the learner to reflect on personal practice. Completing this course will enable the learner to understand the importance of skin care and reducing the risk of cellulitis.
 
 
PH54CY023 Compression Garments in the Management of Lymphoedema/Chronic Oedema:
 
This level 4 unit will support registered and unregistered health care professionals in assessing the use of compression garments in the management of lymphoedema/chronic oedema. This interactive course is delivered virtually or face to face by experienced lymphoedema professionals and includes both theoretical and practical information allowing the learner to reflect on personal practice. Completing this course will enable the learner to understand the importance of compression garments and competently provide different classes/ fabrics and styles of compression for different lymphoedema severities.
 
PH554CY031 Promoting Exercise and Movement for Individuals with Lymphoedema:
 
This level 4 unit will support registered and unregistered health care professionals in developing skills and understanding of providing exercise and movement in the management of lymphoedema. This interactive course is delivered virtually or face to face by experienced clinicians and includes both theoretical and practical information allowing the learner to reflect on personal practice. Completing this course will enable the learner to developing programmes of exercise and movement.
 
Managing Lower Limb Lymphoedema using Multi Layered Lymphoedema Bandaging:
 
This practical education day will support registered health care professionals in developing practical skills in MLLB techniques for the lower limb. This interactive course is delivered face to face by experienced lymphoedema professionals and includes both theoretical and practical information to safely treat and delegate MLLB to an unregistered professional.
 
Assist with the Application of Multi Layered Lymphoedema Bandaging of the Lower Limb:
 
This practical education day will support unregistered health care professionals in developing practical skills in MLLB techniques for the lower limb. This interactive course is delivered face to face by experienced lymphoedema professionals and includes both theoretical and practical information.
 
Managing Upper Limb Lymphoedema using Multi Layered Lymphoedema Bandaging:
 
This practical education day will support registered health care professionals in developing practical skills in MLLB techniques for the upper limb. This interactive course is delivered face to face by experienced lymphoedema professionals and includes both theoretical and practical information to safely treat and delegate MLLB to an unregistered professional.
 
 
Assist with the Application of Multi Layered Lymphoedema Bandaging of the Upper Limb:
 
This practical education day will support unregistered health care professionals in developing practical skills in MLLB techniques for the upper limb. This interactive course is delivered face to face by experienced lymphoedema professionals and includes both theoretical and practical information.
 
 
Providing Simple Lymph Drainage Massage and other self-massage techniques for People with Lymphoedema:
 
This education session will support registered and unregistered health care professionals with skills to provide Simple Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Soft Tissue Massage and Scar Management techniques for individuals with lymphoedema. This interactive course is delivered virtually or face to face by experienced lymphoedema specialists and includes both theoretical and practical work information allowing the learner to reflect on personal practice.
 
Reducing the Risk of Lymphoedema:
 
This education session will support registered and unregistered health care professionals in developing skills and understanding in reducing the risk of developing lymphoedema. This interactive course is delivered virtually or face to face by experienced clinicians and includes both theoretical and practical information allowing the learner to reflect on personal practice. Completing this course will enable the learner to provide evidenced based information in reducing the risk of lymphoedema.
 
Breast Oedema Masterclass:
 
This masterclass supports the development of lymphoedema health professionals, to manage individuals with breast oedema using advanced manual therapy and to be able to justify theory and practice for complex cases while reflecting on their own practice. The unit includes practical and theoretical work in both the assessment of the breast and treatment of oedema, cording and fibrosis in the breast tissue, delivered in a combination of face-to-face and online formats, with input from surgeons, breast care nurse specialists and highly experienced lymphoedema specialists and researchers.
 
Genital Oedema Masterclass:
 
This masterclass supports development of lymphoedema health care professionals to manage individuals with genital lymphoedema using advanced manual therapy and be able to justify theory and practice for complex cases while reflecting on their own practice. The unit includes practical and theoretical work, delivered in a combination of face-to-face and online formats, with input from surgeons, pelvic floor specialists and highly experienced lymphoedema specialists and researchers.
 
Head & Neck Lymphoedema Masterclass:
 
This masterclass supports the development of lymphoedema health professionals, to manage individuals with head and neck lymphoedema using advanced manual therapy and to be able to justify theory and practice for complex cases while reflecting on their own practice.  The unit includes practical and theoretical work, including differential diagnosis of fibrosis, delivered in a combination of face-to-face and online formats, with input from surgeons, head & neck clinical nurse specialists and highly experienced lymphoedema specialists and researchers.
 
Using Complex Manual Lymphatic Therapy to Manage Lymphoedema - MLD Foundation Level Course:
 
This masterclass course supports the development of health care professionals specialising in lymphoedema, to manage individuals with lymphoedema using complex manual lymphatic therapy. This unit will include the progression of clinical skills and theoretical knowledge to be able to justify theory and practice for complex cases while reflecting on their own practice.  The course is delivered in a combination of face-to-face and online formats, with input from highly experienced lymphoedema specialists and researchers.
 
 
Maintaining Manual Lymphatic Therapy Skills to Manage Complex Lymphoedema - MLD Advanced Level Course:
 
This masterclass course is aimed at assessing the continuing professional development of lymphoedema practitioners in manual lymphatic drainage for complex lymphoedema and to be able to justify theory and practice for complex cases while reflecting on their own practice.  This unit is designed to update practitioners who have achieved and completed the ‘Using Complex Manual Lymphatic Therapy to Manage Lymphoedema’ unit. The course includes practical and theoretical work delivered in a combination of face-to-face and online formats, with input from clinical experts and highly experienced lymphoedema specialists and researchers.
 
 
Supporting Lymphoedema Self-Management in Individuals who are Obese
 
This educational session will support registered and unregistered health care professionals with knowledge, information and skills on obesity to support the management of individuals with lymphoedema. This interactive course is delivered virtually or face to face by experienced lymphoedema specialists and includes both theoretical and practical work information allowing the learner to reflect on personal practice.
 
Clinical Leadership in Lymphoedema:
 
This education course supports the development of lymphoedema health care professionals, to provide clinical leadership within a local, regional and national lymphoedema service. This interactive course is delivered in a combination of face to face and online formats with input from highly experienced lymphoedema leaders, management and researchers. Includes both theoretical and practical information allowing the learner to develop skills in compassionate leadership, supporting a positive culture within teams and the importance of capturing data and activity to demonstrate value based health care and evidence for business cases.
 
Managing Lymphoedema in Children and Young People (age 0-25)
 
This education day supports the development of lymphoedema health care professionals, to manage children and young people with lymphoedema. The unit includes practical and theoretical work, including differential diagnosis of syndromes, delivered in a combination of face-to-face and online formats, with input from highly experienced lymphoedema specialists and researchers.
 
Providing Lymphoedema Management for People with Advanced Disease, or Identified as Palliative or End of Life:
 
This education day support registered and unregistered health care professionals in developing skills in lymphoedema management for patients who have advanced disease, or identified as palliative or end of life. This interactive course is delivered virtually or face to face by experienced clinicians and includes both theoretical and practical information allowing the learner to reflect on personal practice. Completing this course will enable the learner to manage people with advance disease, or end of life.
 
PH54CY024 Managing Wet Legs with Chronic Oedema:
 
This level 4 unit will support registered and unregistered health care professionals in developing skills and understanding of managing “wet legs" with oedema within both community and secondary care settings. This interactive course is delivered virtually and/or face to face by experienced lymphoedema Educators throughout Health boards in Wales and includes both theoretical and practical information allowing the learner to reflect on personal practice. Completing this course will enable the learner to effectively manage “wet legs” with chronic oedema.
