LWCN is available on Consultant Connect which provides on the spot advice for health care professionals (HCPs) who might want advice regarding a specific patient, or to refer a patient on to Lymphoedema Services within Wales. HCPs can either phone when they’re with the patient or download and use the Consultant Connect App.
This rapid advice & guidance supports the clinician with their decision making, helping to ensure the best care for patients. The service links primary care clinicians directly to teams of secondary care specialists, removing delays and providing advice and guidance for elective and urgent care. Clinicians across Wales can use Consultant Connect to contact lymphoedema specialists through phone calls and photo messaging.
